Pediatric Cataracts with Dr. Erick Bothun

Today our co-host Dr. Erick Bothun, pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismus specialist, is here to talk about pediatric cataracts. Dr. Bothun overviews pediatric cataract etiologies and how to work through diagnosis in clinic. We touch on surgical management and the evolution of the treatment of pediatric cataracts. Finally, Dr. Bothun discusses how to work with families for the long-term care and relationship necessary to successfully treat these patients.
